Position: CAC066:Release Analyst
Position Summary  Fed Ex Trade Networks Canada is seeking a Customs Release Associate located at 308 C Chemin Ridge, J0J 1V0 St. Bernard de Lacolle, Quebec. The role requires 40 weekly hours as a full-time employee.
Responsibilities   Gather information, assess documentation and process entries for clearance.
Monitor transactions for rejects, acceptance and release.
Record data in broker system and transmit entry to CBSA to obtain release of shipment.
Ensure all data is correct as per documentation/notice from carrier and/or customer.
Respond to customer queries and provide excellent customer service.
Answer telephone inquiries, collect information, and distribute incoming calls to the right personnel.
Ensure fax and photocopier printed documents are distributed and properly directed or dealt with.
Maintain a general inventory of supplies and necessities.
Check all incoming faxes and distribute to the correct department/personnel.
Perform any other duties as advised by the Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications   High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field of Customs Brokerage and Release.
Ability to understand and interpret documentation related to the Customs Brokerage field.
Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, printers, scanners, as well as AS 400 system.
Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, problem solving skills.
Ability to interact with a wide range of customers, carriers and brokers.
