Location: Saint-Hyacinthe

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Service Representative for our Cime Finance Operations Department, who will play an important role in supporting our growth.

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Respond to telephone and written inquiries from customers and brokers.
  • Contact customers and brokers by telephone and email to arrange payments.
  • Understand customers’ needs and provide appropriate advice in a timely manner.
  • Process all documents related to cancellation and/or termination transactions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of transactions and verify payments received.
  • Efficiently manage collection follow-ups, ensuring that all relevant decision-making factors have been taken into account.
  • Prepare various collection letters.
  • Verify and enter banking information, review new accounts and policies, and adjust payment schedules.
  • Process and resolve issues relating to payments, disbursements, payment agreements, payment methods, and account or policy discrepancies. Perform transactions to help resolve incoming requests and agreements.
  • Perform duties subject to Automatic call Distribution (ACD).
  • What you will bring:

  • Vocational studies diploma in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar position.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency in a high-volume work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of customer service.
  • Proficiency or training with standard office software.
  • Bilingualism (English-French) You will be answering calls and providing services to English-speaking customers on a regular basis.
  • No Canadian work experience is required; however, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
