- Education:
College/CEGEP - Experience:
Experience an asset Tasks - Consult with dentists on patient care
- Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
- Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
- Apply fluoride treatment
- Remove stains and deposits from teeth
- Take, develop and mount X-rays Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
- Membership with the Ordre des hygiénistes dentaires du Québec Work conditions and physical capabilities
