Computer Support Teacher

Location: Brossard

In full expansion, Collège Milestone is looking for qualified instructors to deliver the DEP, Computer Support program during the week-end and at night in the week.

Responsibilities

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials according to the academic requirements of the Collège Milestone

Prepare, administer and grade exams and assignments to assess student progress

Encourage active participation from the students, in classrooms and online

Manage students' different levels of ability and learning

Maintain order and discipline during the course while promoting safety and respect for the rules and directives of the Collège Milestone

Actively participate in staff, group or other meetings related to the academic program, organization and administration of the College

Apply and respect the policies of the Collège Milestone

Ensure the health and safety of students under its responsibility

Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social issues and on their continuing education and careers

Accurately report students grades and attendance in COBA

Any other tasks delegated by the supervisor

Requirements

Hold a DEC, a college or university degree in the discipline of computer science or the equivalent

Have at least 2 years of experience in the field

Master the Microsoft Suite including WORD and EXCEL

Master the computer tools of the program

Knowledge of COBA software is an asset

Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
