Position: Quality Manager for Engineering at Alstom

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing adherence to engineering processes while partnering with various cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, and Platform teams. Your daily tasks will involve conducting inspections, audits, and leading initiatives to promote continuous improvement. You will also play a critical role in reviewing engineering strategies and managing engineering quality issues as part of our commitment to effective and efficient practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure engineering teams apply established processes and standards

• Conduct engineering audits and inspections for compliance

• Review and challenge Engineering Management Plans

• Oversee Critical Item Assessment (CIA) and Critical Technical Topic (CTT) activities

• Address engineering quality issues, including design reviews

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quality management within engineering

• Familiarity with design reviews and DFMEA

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
