As a Mainframe Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of mission-critical workloads. Your expertise in data analysis, optimization, and capacity planning will provide essential insights. Collaborate with infrastructure, Dev Ops, and operations teams to guide performance tuning and improve overall system health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor z/OS health across CPU, memory, and storage

• Analyze performance data to identify trends and issues

• Troubleshoot resource anomalies in production systems

• Develop strategies for performance tuning and resource optimization

• Create reports and dashboards on system performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in information systems or related field

• 10+ years of mainframe systems experience

• Proficiency in performance management in parallel Sysplex

• Experience with REXX/Python and JCL

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
