Location: Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville
Full‑time Mechanical Integration Mechanical Lead Engineer (MIT MLE) located in Saint‑Bruno de Montarville, QC.
Responsibilities Manage mechanical integration activities, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
Work closely with sourcing, industrialisation, and manufacturing teams to support verification and validation activities.
Create and maintain Space Allocation Mock‑ups (SAM), generate assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for industrialisation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the mechanical integration domain.
Perform and maintain SAMs in accordance with progressive maturity rules.
Produce annotated SAMs for supplier exchanges and ensure compliance with supplier feedback.
Design detailed 3D and 2D models of in‑house parts, considering volumes, interfaces, and manufacturability.
Plan and pilot mechanical integration activities and deliverables in line with processes and customer requirements.
Prepare and document mechanical integration Design Reviews (DRCL) and follow up on open actions.
Collaborate on risk mitigation plans and support teams during production ramp‑up.
Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering applied to railway products (mandatory).
Operational English skills (reading, writing, and technical meetings).
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including with customers.
Time‑management and reporting skills.
Strong sense of urgency and priority.
Customer‑ and product‑focused, structured and organized approach.
Hands‑on mindset for problem‑solving and implementation.
Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset when dealing with international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
In Quebec, French remains the main working language of the company.
