Position: Power Factors Senior Data Engineer Position

Elevate renewable energy systems with Power Factors as a Senior Data Engineer in Montreal. Lead the development of ETL pipelines and oversee data quality for ML integration.

In the Innovation team, you will take ownership of the critical data foundation required for advanced analytics. Your experience in backend engineering will produce reliable data systems that enhance decision-making in renewable energy management. Collaborate with diverse teams to drive impactful projects from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create production ETL pipelines ensuring data integrity

• Own schema design and implement automated quality checks

• Manage data versioning and perform backfill operations

• Develop APIs for real-time data inference

• Align efforts with ML Engineers to meet quality standards

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of backend and data engineering experience

• Proven track record in design and management of ETL systems

• Proficient in Python and SQL; AWS experience preferred

• Knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow

• Excellent English communication skills
