The successful candidate will bring advanced structural geology expertise, strong field-based experience, and the ability to provide practical consulting advice throughout the mineral exploration and mining project lifecycle. The position is particularly well suited to an experienced professional who can combine technical leadership with client relationship management, mentorship, and business development.

Key Responsibilities   Lead belt- to deposit-scale structural analysis and interpretation of mineralized systems.

Develop practical and technically robust solutions for complex geological challenges.
Prepare, review, and contribute to technical reports, presentations, proposals, and project deliverables.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on Canadian and international mining projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Identify and support new consulting opportunities as the practice continues to grow.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate consultants.
Travel within Canada and internationally as required for project work.
Qualifications and Experience   A postgraduate degree specializing in structural geology, ideally with a focus on ore deposits. A PhD would be considered an asset.
Extensive applied structural geology experience within mineral exploration, mining operations, or consulting.
Robust field-based experience conducting belt- to deposit-scale structural analysis and interpreting mineralized systems.
A solid theoretical background combined with the ability to develop practical, commercially focused solutions.
Experience using GIS and 3D geological modelling software.
Qualified registration, or eligibility to obtain registration in Canada.
An established network within the mining industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage projects, support client relationships, and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated leadership skills and an interest in mentoring developing professionals.
Additional Assets   Previous experience within a mining consultancy.
Business-development experience and an established client network.
Experience interpreting geophysical data.
Proficiency with up-to-date implicit modelling tools such as Leapfrog.
Exposure to a range of mineral deposit types, commodities, and international jurisdictions.
Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project plans.
Benefits   Join a globally recognized mining consultancy with a robust technical reputation.
Work on diverse and technically challenging projects across multiple commodities and jurisdictions.
Collaborate with respected specialists in structural geology, resource geology, geostatistics, engineering, and mining advisory services.
Take on a visible role with the opportunity to shape the continued growth of the structural geology practice in Ontario.
Access a competitive compensation package based on experience.
