Position: Electrical Designer in Industrial Sector
Location: Châteauguay

Lead electrical design projects for innovative products in a dynamic industrial setting. This role requires keen expertise in electrical functionality and collaboration with engineering teams to meet customer needs.

As an Industrial Electrical Designer, you will craft electrical solutions by translating customer specifications into actionable designs. Your collaboration with mechanical and industrial engineers will support new projects from concept to production. With a focus on compliance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness, you’ll ensure that all electrical aspects are thoroughly integrated and validated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical functionalities in line with industry standards

• Collaborate throughout design and prototyping phases

• Develop 2D electrical design drawings for production

• Provide technical support and resolve workshop electrical issues

• Conduct testing and validate compliance with specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• Three years of experience as an Electrical Designer

• OIQ membership preferred

• Strong teamwork and decision-making skills

• Experience with harnesses and power cable design is a plus
