I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll.

I'm looking for a Chief Financial Officer for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.

Mission

Define and lead the company’s financial strategy in alignment with executive leadership.

Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and taxation.

Ensure the preparation, accuracy, and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators.

Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and risk management practices.

Support strategic decision‑making related to investments, financing, growth initiatives, and cost optimization.

Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and investors.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Your profile

University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

CPA required

Significant experience in senior or executive financial roles

Strong financial analysis, planning, and performance management skills

Strategic vision, leadership, and excellent decision‑making abilities

Comfortable in a changing, results‑oriented environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.

PROCESS:
Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the President.
