My name is Caroline, and I am a recruitment consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.

I am looking for a Finance Director for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.
Mission   Financial and strategic leadership

- Oversee financial, accounting, and administrative strategy in close collaboration with the CEO.
- Actively participate in strategic planning and overall business development.
- Act as a key partner with banks, governments, and external advisors.

Financial and accounting management

- Oversee the entire accounting cycle (including payroll, taxation, consolidations, and government relations in QC, ON, and the US).
- Produce monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and strategic financial analyses.
- Optimize the financial structure: cash flow, taxation, capital, and internal policies.
- Implement and improve systems (ERP Business Central, cost price, Nethris payroll, BI/AI tools).
- Develop analysis and business intelligence tools to support performance.

Administrative and operational management

- Oversee risks, insurance, legal matters, and cybersecurity with external partners.
- Collaborate with HR on certain employee matters.
- Ensure the smooth administrative and technological functioning of the organization.
- Supervise and develop the accounting team.

Your profile   - Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA, a major asset).
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience in manufacturing (food industry, a strong asset).
- Solid expertise in financial management, ERP (Business Central an asset), advanced Excel.
- Bilingual French/English (Spanish, a plus).
- Strategic, analytical, and structured leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and assertive decision-making skills.
