I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Mission Credit and collections
- Manage customer accounts: reminders, credit analyses, limit adjustments, and risk management.
- Apply payments and ensure account reconciliation (banks, payment platforms, customer portals).
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and customer requests.
Reporting and closings
- Produce end-of-month analyses (DSO, aged balances, reconciliations, intercompany).
- Prepare accounts receivable tracking reports and sales commissions.
- Verify the accuracy of taxes and perform controls related to the customer cycle.
Taxes and accounting support
- Manage tax returns (Canada and United States) and track exemption certificates.
- Perform bank reconciliations and contribute to certain general accounting tasks.
Your profile - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or credit/collection.
- Completed college diploma in accounting; university certificate (an asset).
- Excellent command of Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Rigorous, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative spirit and ease working in a team.
