Job Description

The human resources advisor acts as an advisor to managers and employees, supporting them in all aspects of human resources management. He will play a key role in developing and implementing HR best practices, thereby contributing to proactive management that is aligned with organizational objectives.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide managers with advice and expertise in all areas of human resources management, such as labor relations, compensation, performance management, training and development, coaching, and employee engagement.
  • Act as a change agent to support senior management, managers, and employees.
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures, drawing on best practices;
  • Inform/ guide employees and managers in interpreting existing policies and procedures, and labor laws;
  • Advise managers on managing and improving employee performance and team development;
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a work environment promoting employee well-being and development;
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure effective human resources management by managers;
  • Support the talent acquisition advisor with the onboarding and integration process for new employees;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of human resources programs and processes;
  • Manage and support the implementation of certain HR projects and initiatives in collaboration with team members;
  • Establish, review, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to their improvement;
  • Be involved in organizing HR activities and CMP events;
  • All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management ;
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience in personal human resources management, ideally in a consulting role;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Discretion, diplomacy, good judgment and ability to represent the employer well.
  • Master the French and English language (communication and uniformization of practices with CMP-NY).

All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed
