Job Description
The Procurement Technician is responsible for supporting the Procurement and Sales Department in various tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
Follow up on open orders and maintain relevant purchasing data in LN ERP.
Work with Excel for push‑pulls for customer requests and processing in LN.
Create, process purchase orders related to cost and production.
Support cost‑related purchase order requests.
Manage and procure office supplies.
Generate cost savings by negotiating with suppliers or redirecting purchases to preferred suppliers for requisitions.
Prepare RFQs, offer analysis, negotiate prices and commercial conditions with suppliers with all documentation needed according to CMP’s purchasing policy.
Review open order reports with suppliers on a frequent basis, stocking levels, to ensure timely deliveries with proper follow‑up.
Other duties as requested by the Supply Chain Manager.
Enter ASNs (advanced shipping notice) for Amazon suppliers.
Scan all shipping documents and distribute to each customer.
Rapid prototype order entry and release for shipment.
Print, confirm, and update POs for Amazon suppliers.
All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Analyze and solve problems (gathers relevant information systematically).
Excellent verbal and written skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to develop high‑quality working relationships both internally and externally with suppliers and customers.
Master the French and English languages (suppliers and clients in the US).
