Your role as a Caretaker Class II involves maintaining and supervising the upkeep of educational buildings  will manage cleanliness, inspect systems for functionality, and ensure security protocols are followed. Additionally, you will direct nonspecialized workers and identify maintenance needs while performing minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of facilities

• Supervise evening maintenance duties of nonspecialized workers

• Verify operation of heating and lighting systems

• Conduct minor repairs and manage maintenance needs

• Ensure fire and theft security measures are upheld

Requirements:

• 3 years of related maintenance experience required

• Fluent in both official languages

• Possess a valid driver’s license and car

• Knowledgeable in building systems and repairs

• Hold a secondary V diploma or recognised equivalent
