Position: Maintenance Technician
PURPOSE
Support the Plant Manager, Maintenance assistant, Team Leaders and Other Maintenance personnel in all aspects of maintenance including:
Working Conditions:
Hours will be for an average of hours a week (Monday to Friday am to pm) and based in Vaudreuil Dorion Canada Facility. Some travel to other Logoplaste facilities may be required. Occasionally work maybe required outside of “normal” hours including weekends. The function requires working in the shop floor environments.

Ø Specialist Mechanical Millwright Knowledge
Ø Machine efficiency
Ø Losses optimization

Ø Validation of suppliers
Ø Training
Health & Safety within the workplaceProvide support for project development and cost reduction projects and trialsWork to achieve a maintenance-free PlantOrganize, define, and develop maintenance standardsEnsure maintenance programs are up to date for all site equipmentEnsure all reporting and paperwork systems are updatedAnalyze breakdown records to assist in developing the site maintenance standardsEnsure the maintenance stock records are up to dateEnsure there are spare components/parts for all equipment and recommend the quantities to be stockedEnsure that spare parts usage has been accurately recordedCoordinate TPMSAP-PM (Corrective, Preventative maintenance)Maintain all plant equipment to ensure maximum efficiency from all equipmentEnsure all equipment is in a functional conditionAttend production meetings where necessaryAny duties required by the management of the businessCompetencies & Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience in maintenance with an electrical/millwright backgroundPLC knowledge of ladder logic and control equipmentMust have strong mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience of production machineryMust be able to demonstrate a good ‘hands on’ working approachProven ability to work well under pressure in a fast, active, environmentMust be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skillsGood working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and safety, Electricity at work etcGreat knowledge of computer systems – Excel, word, power pointKnowledge in blow molding & injection molding would be an assetExperience in plastics manufacturing is an assetBe able to undertake additional trainingAssist the team in all areas as neededMust be able to train others in all aspects of maintenance departmentLOGOPLASTE
