Job DescriptionThe coordinator must supervise the team leaders and employees on the floor. He must also ensure that the department's daily objectives are met, while monitoring health, safety and quality.
Role and responsibilities- Work closely with production supervisors to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Distribute and ensure completion of work orders; support the operations of production departments/teams to ensure that quantitative and qualitative measures are achieved.
- Ensure proper manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures are always followed and that all products consistently meet specifications.
- Maintain and collaborate on the continuous improvement action plan and contribute to solutions to meet or exceed department performance objectives.
- Inform departmental team leaders of departmental objectives to be achieved (KPIs, productivity).
- Ensure follow-up between shifts and management of route sheets.
- Participate in development of team members and the working environment (continuous improvement, 5S, SMED, set-up times, etc.).
- Perform daily management systems audits.
- Perform assembly, operator or other production tasks according to operational needs.
- All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Master French and English languages (employees and clients from the United States)
