Sanitation Attendant

Under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Attendant is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation activities on production equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Rinse, scrub, clean, and wash production machinery

Push lettuce and blow air on production equipment

Empty garbage bins

Wash conveyors using water hoses

Remove condensation and water from walls, ceilings, and floors

Perform any other related duties as required

Main Responsibilities

High school diploma is an asset

0 to 6 months of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment

Ability to work standing in a cold and humid environment (3°C)

Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs (for certain workstations)

Strong observation skills and sense of urgency
