Job Description - Responsibilities
The forklift operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, moving, and shipping products.

Know and comply at all times with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies;

Inspect the forklift before use according to company standards;

Load, unload, and move products and/or materials using a forklift;

Ensure that products and materials are in the right place at the right time;

Ensure the good condition of all products and materials being moved.

Skills

Experience operating a forklift (1-3 years), an asset;

Ability to perform physical work in challenging weather conditions;

Ability to work as part of a team;

Ability to manage priorities efficiently;

Good computer skills;

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain standing for long periods;

Good manual dexterity;

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment;

Ability to handle heavy loads.
