Position: PRODUCTION LABORER (EVENING)

PRODUCTION LABOURER B

Full-time – Permanent – On-site – Evening shift

$21.84/hour + $1.25/hour evening premium

Your role
Reporting to the supervisor, the production labourer ensures the safe handling of products, as well as their preparation and assembly.

Your responsibilities

Assist the splicer in carrying out their tasks

Measure, cut, roll, and assemble all cable diameters (including 1/4’’ and larger) and accessories as required

Follow work procedures and deadlines

Complete production reports and other required documentation

Inform the supervisor of any non-conformity or equipment breakdown

Participate in training new employees

Comply with ISO standards and procedures

Follow occupational health and safety standards

Respect company policies and regulations

Perform any other tasks required for the position

Skills and qualifications

Ability to read and write

Ability to read measurements (imperial and metric)

Ability to use vernier calipers or other measuring instruments

Very good physical stamina

Punctuality

Reliability

Organization and attention to order

High school diploma

Experience in steel cable splicing (an asset)
