Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion
Elevate your woodworking skills as a Sawyer, focusing on operating woodworking machines in our on-site facility. Join our team to fabricate and repair wooden products while enhancing your craft.
We are looking for a Sawyer with 1-2 years of onsite experience in woodworking. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating computerized and manual woodworking machines while fabricating and repairing furniture and fixtures. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate woodworking machines
• Fabricate and repair wooden parts and products
• Glue pieces of wood together or apply veneer
• Maintain machinery by cleaning and lubricating
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of woodworking experience
• Ability to operate saws and other machinery
• No formal education required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal instructions
