Purpose of the position

The Le Dufferin residence located in Valleyfield is currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant, empathetic and concerned about the well-being of residents. The attendant sees to the comfort, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care. Permanent full-time position, night shift, 36 hours per week, 12 or 8 hour shift from 8 to 8 , every other weekend.

HIRING BONUS Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations

Proactively assist and support the residents

Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies

In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .

Respond to all emergency situations

Notify the nurse and/or the person in charge of health services of any changes observed in the state of health of the residents

Required qualifications :

Recognized PAB training (DEP)

PDSB training

Up to date CPR / AED training certificates

Skill 7 (mandatory)
