Lead hydroelectric construction quality with commissioning expertise at Voith Hydro in Brossard, Quebec, coordinating inspections, testing, and customer acceptance activities.
This Engineer, Construction and Commissioning Quality role manages site quality throughout construction, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and closeout. You will coordinate quality plans, inspection and test plans, customer documentation, nonconformance reports, corrective actions, and turnover records. The role connects site teams, Project Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead site quality activities through construction and commissioning
- Develop and execute site quality plans and ITPs
- Coordinate customer inspections, audits, witness points, and hold points
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions, quality risks, and lessons learned
- Compile traceable records, dossiers, and turnover packages
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline preferred
- Experience in construction, commissioning, project, or supplier quality
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 principles
- Strong customer-facing, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
- Fluency in French and English with frequent travel willingness
