This role, reporting to the Category Director, emphasizes managing a comprehensive lumber product lineup while engaging suppliers through effective negotiation. With 5 to 8 years in retail, particularly in home improvement, you will analyze category trends, set retail prices, and contribute to inventory management ensuring alignment with company goals. Help shape the future with innovative merchandising solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lumber category strategies

• Analyze consumer needs to select appropriate products

• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for optimized terms

• Manage and track daily performance of lumber categories

• Create and communicate merchandising plans effectively

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree required

• 5 to 8 years of retail experience, 4 years in home improvement

• In-depth product knowledge of lumber

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Analytical and customer-focused approach
