Position: Part-Time Guard for School Safety
Location: Châteauguay

Join the New Frontiers School Board as a part-time Guard at Howard S. Billings Regional High School. This role focuses on maintaining safety, security inspections, and managing visitor access effectively.

In this 20-hour-per-week position, you will be responsible for safeguarding school property against theft and damages. The candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to enact the school’s policies.

Your role includes monitoring entry points and surveillance, ensuring a disciplined environment for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rounds of inspection at the school

• Check that all entry points are locked securely

• Supervise the activities of visitors and residents

• Answer phone calls and relay important messages

• Review security camera footage as required

Requirements:

• Strong practical skills related to security

• Capable of completing simple report writing

• Basic knowledge of safety regulations

• Relevant training in security methods preferred

• Experience in setting up security routines is an asset
