We are searching for a Community Worker who will play an essential role in identifying the needs of the Cree population. Ideal candidates will have a college diploma in social work or related fields, with a deep understanding of Cree culture and mental health issues. Your ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams will be crucial in delivering effective support to community groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify community needs and target appropriate action programs

• Act as a resource for local groups and organizations

• Conduct interviews and maintain helping relationships with beneficiaries

• Collaborate with health and social service workers

• Participate in on-call periods for community support

Requirements:

• College diploma in social work or related field

• Knowledge of Cree culture and social issues

• Fluent in Cree and English, French is an asset

• Strong counselling skills and crisis management abilities

• Minimum one year of relevant experience is preferred
