Location: Brossard
Job Overview QA Team Lead – Eaton EESS Division, Brossard, Québec, Canada (Hybrid work). Candidates must live within 80 km of Brossard.
Annual salary range: CAD 101,000 – 126,000 (based on skills, experience, and market).
Essential Responsibilities Manage a team of QA engineers.
Ensure software meets high standards before release.
Set standards, assign tasks, and inspire the team.
Mentor the team throughout the development lifecycle.
Innovate and enhance quality processes.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers in an agile environment.
Define and review project quality standards.
Schedule and manage different testing cycle phases.
Oversee test planning, execution, and issue tracking.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
Experience leading an engineering team.
Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation and applying software testing techniques.
Minimum 8 years of experience in programming (C++, C#, Java and/or Python).
Experience with test automation for micro‑services/Cloud environments.
Experience with test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Test Complete, SOAPUI, Postman).
Experience with Git, Git Hub and CI/CD.
Fluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages).
Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Must reside within 80 km of Brossard facility.
Preferred Qualifications Studies or certifications in Software Quality Assurance.
Knowledge of power system engineering.
Skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem‑solving skills.
Effective time management and prioritization.
