Back-end Developer

Location: Brossard

Job Description  The candidate will support the web team in performing daily tasks by working closely with our senior backend programmer, as well as our frontend developers. Analytical and proactive, he will also take part in strategic and technical decisions by bringing various solutions to the challenges we face. The targeted projects vary from the production of corporate sites, to e-commerce platforms, through various activation applications via Facebook, iPad and campaign microsites.
Profile   Passionate about Web and curious by nature
3 to 5 years of experience in object oriented PHP web development
Comfortable in a multitasking environment where everything evolves quickly
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team work oriented
Open minded, autonomous and resourceful
Tasks   Develop, implement and maintain projects with Laravel and PHP
Collaborate on database architecture (MySQL)
Gather, analyze and synthesize customer requirements
Ensure quality of deliverables and follow up on mandates during production
Maintain applications and data
Qualifications   Knowledge of Word Press and PHP development
Knowledge of MySQL
Knowledge of Laravel
Knowledge of Git, Shopify, and Woo Commerce (an asset)
Knowledge of APIs
Knowledge of Bash and Shell
Knowledge of unit testing (an asset)
Knowledge of the Mac environment (an asset)
Knowledge of Asana project management tool (an asset)
Excellent knowledge of spoken French
