Position: Shipping - Shipping Specialist / EVENING
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion

Shipping Specialist / EVENING
Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Shipping Specialist ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers. Will perform other related duties as requested by the immediate superior, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.

Responsibilities

Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise.

Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments.

Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies.

Load, unload, sort and move the goods by hand or using a pallet.

At the verification station, ensure that the documents correspond to the goods.

Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure that they are placed with the right orders.

Attach and wrap the products for shipping.

Health & Safety (5%)

Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.

Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or vocational training (asset).

One year experience in a similar position (asset).

Proficiency in spoken and written French (essential). Knowledge of English may be required.

Having work boots would be essential.

Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to work in an environment where the temperature varies.

Good physical endurance, able to regularly move goods that are 60 lbs. and over.
