Safety-Kleen Canada is hiring a Driver Apprentice/Laborer committed to safety and compliance. In this position, you will receive comprehensive training in the transport of hazardous materials, operation of a vacuum truck, and the essentials of warehouse labor. You'll also work towards acquiring a Class 3 license while learning important safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport hazardous waste using appropriate vehicles

• Load and unload waste carefully, adhering to standards

• Apply required placards for compliance

• Maintain accurate vehicle and trip documentation

• Ensure equipment is functioning properly

Requirements:

• High attention to detail in all tasks

• Proficient with smartphones for logging activities

• Ability to work solo after adequate training

• Make on-the-spot decisions as necessary

• Liaise effectively with supervisors
