Tasks

  • Prepare shipments by clearly identifying parts and goods to be sent.
  • Verify order accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Safely package goods to minimize the risk of damage during transport.
  • Prepare shipping documents, including waybills and customs documentation, when required.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
  • Receive incoming goods.
  • Inspect deliveries to identify damage, overages, or missing items.
  • Record receipts in the internal system and maintain accurate records.
  • Release pending orders and distribute goods to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Process returns with suppliers.
  • Investigate, report, and claim missing items with carriers or suppliers.
  • Inform relevant recipients when discrepancies are identified in receiving or shipping.
  • Participate in cycle inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while respecting internal procedures and health and safety standards.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

  • Job requirements

  • High school diploma or relevant work experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, mechanical, or a related field.
  • Understanding of shipping, receiving, and transportation processes.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems for data entry.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure thorough documentation follow-up.
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in accordance with health and safety procedures and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Valid forklift certification (asset).
  • Knowledge of SAP (asset).
