Kitter; Shipping and Receiving​/Stock Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitter to support our warehouse and production operations. The Kitter is responsible for receiving, verifying, preparing, organizing and routing parts and materials required for production.

The successful candidate will ensure that materials are accurately identified, prepared and delivered to the appropriate production or storage areas in a timely manner.

Wage: $22.71 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
NOC: 14400 - Shippers and Receivers

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming parts, materials and components against work orders and other documentation.
• Prepare and assemble kits of parts, materials and components required for production.
• Pick, verify, package and label materials according to work orders and production requirements.
• Route and distribute parts and materials to the appropriate production, warehouse or storage areas.
• Verify quantities and condition of materials and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items.
• Maintain accurate computerized or manual records of received, prepared and distributed materials.
• Organize materials and prepare them for movement between warehouse, storage and production areas.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production and purchasing personnel to ensure the timely availability and movement of required materials.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company health, safety and material-handling procedures.
• Perform other related shipping, receiving and material-handling duties as required.

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, material handling, kitting or a related position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, labels and basic inventory documentation.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately count, verify and handle parts and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production and warehouse team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and material tracking are an asset.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with material handling.
