Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Staff Coordinator coordinates all details of medical staff and allied health professional credentialing for Garfield Medical Center and the Centralized Credentialing processing of new applications, reappointments and proctoring. The Coordinator maintains and updates all privilege lists, and the physician database. The coordinator is responsible for assisting with the Department and Committee meeting preparation, ER call schedules, CME program, preparing files for physician review and is an active participant in the JCAHO process.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
* High school graduate

  • Two (2) years of experience medical staff office.
  • Current BCLS Card (AHA) and maintain current.
