Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts for Quantic UTC and Quantic EULEX ceramic capacitor brands. This role is crucial in driving growth and managing customer relationships in the high‑reliability markets, particularly in the MLCC sector.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share for ceramic capacitors, including multilayer and single‑layer ceramic products.
- Actively prospect for new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Manage and mentor a small inside sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other Quantic capacitor businesses, including Quantic Paktron and Quantic Evans, to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the high‑reliability capacitor market.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and legal requirements.
- Represent the company at customer site visits, industry events, and trade shows to promote Quantic UTC, Quantic EULEX, and our portfolio of capacitor offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability markets.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the electronic components industry, specifically with ceramic capacitors.
- In‑depth knowledge of multilayer and single‑layer ceramic capacitors and their applications in Mil/Aero and other high‑reliability markets.
- Strong track record of hunting for new business and farming existing accounts.
- Experience managing and developing a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop long‑term business relationships.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex product specifications.
- Adaptability to work with various capacitor technologies within the Quantic portfolio.
- Results‑oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
