We’re now hiring a Custom Cabinet Design and Sales Specialist to join our Monterey showroom—where design expertise meets premium customer service in one of California’s most design-savvy markets.
About the Monterey ShowroomLocated in the heart of Monterey Bay, this showroom serves a diverse and design-conscious clientele—from homeowners and builders to interior designers and architects. You’ll work in a bright, welcoming space that fosters creativity and delivers personalized cabinetry solutions backed by cutting-edge tools and local manufacturing.
What You’ll Do- Greet and guide walk-in and scheduled clients through the in-showroom consultation process
- Manage the full design-to-sale journey, including quoting, layout planning, revisions, and final approvals
- Use proprietary 3D design software (training provided) to create kitchens, baths, and closets that reflect client needs and lifestyle
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth post-sale execution and delivery
- Manage multiple client projects with precision and a customer-first mindset
- Conduct occasional job site visits to confirm dimensions and maintain long-term client satisfaction
- Meet or exceed personal sales goals through relationship-based, solution-driven selling
- 1–3+ years of retail sales experience in cabinetry, kitchen & bath, furniture, remodeling, or home design
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through across multiple open projects
- Comfort with or interest in learning 3D design software and cabinetry layouts
- A degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with cabinetry, remodeling, or residential construction a plus
