PURPOSEUnder the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Community and Belonging, the Title IX Coordinator and Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation (DHR) Prevention Administrator provides leadership and direction for the Office of Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation Prevention and Title IX Administration. The Coordinator is a hands‑on administrator responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and coordinating the campus’ response to students, faculty, staff, and visitors/third parties experiencing varying degrees of distress.
The University’s Title IX Coordinator and DHR Administrator is responsible for university compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of the 1972 Civil Rights Act, the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2012 (VAWA), and CSU system wide and University policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
