Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent, in accordance with University guidelines.

Full-time monthly salaries range from $5,507 to $8,593.

CSUMB provides pay scales representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, and CSU systemwide pay for comparable jobs.

This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. The number of positions varies by semester and depends on the needs of the Department. Appointments from the pool are temporary and do not confer tenure. The pool will remain in place for two academic years; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must reapply.
