DeVine provides technical and educational support services to government clients. Our company is looking for a System Engineer to join DeVine in a full‑time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer; therefore only U.S. Citizens may be considered.
Our client supports military and federal civilian employees worldwide. Language instruction is the core mission. Classrooms are dispersed nationally and internationally. Multiple IT networks at the classified and unclassified level need expertise from the team. The client requires a full range of IT support and system engineering services including hardware and software, infrastructure, network support and data center maintenance, operation, and cybersecurity for various networks, including secret‑level networks.
RoleHighlights
- Serve in the datacenter support group, responsible for configuration and support of domain system servers, SAN, NAS, backup systems, identity management, and datacenter security.
- Manage development/sustainment, staging, production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment.
- Plan, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage all system servers and applications during or after work hours.
- BA/BS Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience; or AA/AS with 7+ years’ experience.
- IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification.
- CE/OS Certification.
- Experience as a system administrator for Microsoft O365, VMWare, Vsphere, NsX‑T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience maintaining a high‑availability datacenter.
- Expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, storage technologies, cloud computing platforms, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical abilities to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Current Secret Clearance required. Top Secret preferred.
