Job Overview

Under the direction of the Supervisors or assigned charge person, the Central Supply and Distribution Technician I is responsible for fulfilling general supply needs. This role is very physical and requires timely delivery of supplies and equipment across various hospital departments while maintaining proper inventory control systems.

• Deliver supplies and equipment to requesting departments in a timely manner.
• Receive, validate product, and conduct put-away of inventory.
• Create requisitions and pick inventory using Workday ERP.
• Support inventory management, replenish supply nodes, and maintain two-bin Kanban (Blue Bin) program SOPs.
• Answer calls, respond to emails, and provide urgent support for specialty carts.
• Retrieve contaminated instruments and equipment following infection prevention procedures.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Three (3) years of experience in healthcare materials supply chain.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Preferred experience with Workday, PAR replenishment, and inventory management.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Evening Shift Differential: $2.03 hourly.
