RUCKUS is hiring! The position involves managing complex technical requirements, designing systems, engaging the presales process, and providing high‑level sales support to clients and internal teams.
You will be a technical sales engineer working in direct partnership with the account management team, providing technical sales expert support. This role is within our RUCKUS Technical Sales SE team in CALA, focused on end‑customer or technology‑focused technical sales, providing high‑level technical support, enablement, and guidance to partners and important end customers.
This SE will possess a proven understanding of the wireless and wired solutions portfolio and related technologies, the vertical specific use‑cases where these apply, and the global technological direction within our industry.
SOLUTIONS SELLING SKILLS- End user prospect qualification using methodologies driven to identify business operations related pain points, KPIs and metrics to remove objections
- Influence the technical elements in RFP and various approaches for proposal development
- Lead presentation of Ruckus solutions to customers, including whiteboard and presentation of technical material
- Develop winning solutions, leveraging replicable architectures and researching customized alternatives; consult with SME on proposed plans
- Lead and develop proof of concept with a clearly defined success exit strategy and winning criteria, including presentation and documentation of test results
- Strong experience with WLAN and cloud technologies for both Enterprise IT and Operations Technologies (IT+OT)
- Proficient knowledge of wireless heatmap/site survey design tools such as Ekahau or Hamina
- Excellent knowledge in L2/L3 switching, network segmentation, security best practices (Zero Trust), secure access & client device onboarding solutions
- Managing server and cloud network infrastructure deployments
- Solid problem‑solving abilities and proven troubleshooting & technical support skills, leveraging AI and ML tools to improve end‑user experiences
- End‑user first sales approach
- Excellent content development and presentation skills
- Great project coordination and excellence in working with cross‑functional stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to sustain a working relationship with integrator partners and collaborate when required (win‑win)
- Minimum 8 years of related presales SE experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, telecom engineering, computer science, IT, or a related field
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English required)
- 4.0 or Manufacturing, Warehouse and Logistics vertical subject‑matter expert SE
- Strong technical presales/engineering experience working with integrators in a sales‑through model toward industrial and enterprise segments
- Diverse product vendor experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings; knowledge about RUCKUS solutions is highly desired
- Advanced level networking industry certification such as CCIE, BPIPA, JNCIE, PCNSE, Aruba, Ruckus, CWNP, etc. (preferred)
- Portuguese will be desirable, not required
