The Application Development Senior Lead supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead of the Dev Ops Application Development/Sustainment Center of Operations, ensuring overall leadership of all Application Development/Sustainment within DLIFLC.
- Ensure timely delivery and best Dev Ops practices, Agile Methodology, SDLC, and Release Management.
- Planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all App Dev servers and applications.
- Perform daily operations and maintenance of the web and portals and subordinate pages and associated data.
- Develop SharePoint instructional products based on the DLIFLC Portal operational environment and capabilities.
- Experience leading teams.
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
- Require any one of the following IAT Level II certifications (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) and CE/OS Certification.
- 7 years of progressive experience serving as a .NET Application Developer.
- Experience leading teams.
- Experience with Dev Ops Methodologies, Git Lab, and Agile Methodologies.
- Relevant experience with Amazon, Microsoft, and Google cloud services.
- Required skills:
.NET, JAVA, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint, .NET, SQL, HTML5, SQL, MySQL, iOS Development/Sustainment, PHP, Word Press. - Extensive experience in both application development/sustainment as well as operational support for large, highly scalable applications.
- Secret Clearance.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000 (includes potential overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses)
