PurposeUnder the general direction of the Associate Registrar, the Records and Registration Analyst provides functional support for the Student Information System (Oracle People Soft Campus Solutions) and related Registrar applications. The role performs systems analysis, testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure data integrity and compliance with university, CSU, and state regulations. The Analyst works closely with Registrar staff, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Information Technology, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office to evaluate processes, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- System Support and Maintenance: Provide functional support for the SIS (Oracle People Soft Campus Solutions) and other Registrar applications. Assist with testing, implementation, and upgrades to ensure accurate functionality and compliance. Troubleshoot functional issues, provide end‑user guidance, and perform start‑of‑term and end‑of‑term processes.
- Business Process Analysis and Guidance: Work with Registrar staff and campus partners to review business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and document workflows and operational procedures.
- Data Management and Reporting: Conduct audits of student records and system data; develop and run queries; generate reports; support decision‑making for internal, state, and CSU reporting requirements.
- Collaboration and Training: Serve as liaison to campus departments, IT staff, and systemwide partners. Provide training and guidance to end users on system functionality, processes, and policies; communicate system changes and updates.
- Other Functions: Provide high‑quality customer service support in person, virtually, or via call center as needed. Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in related field plus two years of relevant experience. Advanced degree may substitute experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Highly organized, multi‑task, strong customer service orientation, confidentiality, proactive judgment, and dependable by days.

- Technical fluency in Oracle/People Soft, CSU Common Management, Microsoft Office Pro, Google Workspace, 25
