Location: Presidio of Monterey, CA
Clearance: Active Secret
Connexus Hub is seeking a Data Center Lead to oversee daily operations of primary and backup data centers. This role ensures availability, backup integrity, and compliance of virtualized hosting environments.
Responsibilities- Lead daily operations of VMware/Hyper-V virtual infrastructure.
- Ensure daily incremental and weekly full backups, with quarterly restore validation.
- Maintain 3-2-1 backup compliance and redundant power/cooling.
- Apply monthly DISA STIG updates across servers.
- Oversee hosting for academic applications, portals, and testing platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 8+ years of system administration/data center operations experience.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified:
Azure/Server Administrator. - Experience managing backup/restore validation and redundancy.
- Clearance:
Secret.
