Classification: Systems Administrator II

Hours: Full-time / 40 hours per week

FLSA: Exempt

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,458 - $8,738 per month

Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, and through regular collaboration with Information Technology, this role will execute enrollment strategies using Salesforce for all enrollment, admissions, and financial aid initiatives. The Lead Salesforce/CRM Systems Administrator will map and support integration with academic core systems such as OASIS, Web Admit and other institutional applications, configure system integrations, and provide advanced strategic support across the university.

This position will also serve as the main point of contact for all Salesforce‑related vendors, plugins, and applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Configure and implement business solutions for Salesforce and Web Admit/OASIS systems.
  • Maintain, update, and test system integrations; ensure seamless updates to systems as available.
  • Work closely with university vendors to secure data transmission (sFTP, web‑based downloads).
  • Utilize Salesforce automation tools (Flow, Process Builder), iPass tools (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Informatica), data management tools (Data Loader), and report/dashboard creation.
  • Integrate Salesforce App Exchange tools and third‑party applications to extend platform functionality.
  • Serve as main point of contact for the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs for Salesforce‑related inquiries.
  • Support communications related to email campaigns, SMS messaging, and monitor effectiveness through Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mass Mailer, and SMS‑Magic.
  • Maintain data integrity; create, manage, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Execute data migration and manipulation tasks using data loading tools and ETL tools, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Use advanced spreadsheet and database software for general data manipulation and analysis.
  • Resolve integration/data issues and complete routine security and data audits.
  • Manage user profiles and permission sets for staff access.
  • Develop training documentation and conduct Salesforce training sessions for end‑users across organizational levels.
  • Maintain working relationships with division partners and stakeholders to present technical solutions and facilitate decision‑making.
  • Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
Data Management, Integrations, Reporting, & Analytics
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in the system.
  • Create and maintain Sales Force reports and dashboards.
  • Execute data migrations with tools such as Data Loader and ETL tools.
  • Analyze data via spreadsheet and database software.
  • Perform routine security and data audits.
  • Manage user profiles and permission sets.
User Support & Training
  • Create training documentation for user adaptations.
  • Develop and conduct Salesforce training materials, work instructions, and sessions.
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communicate technical solutions.
Other Functions
  • Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of operating systems, servers, infrastructure, and server administration. Proficiency in applicable software and system technologies. Ability to configure data and troubleshoot system issues. Knowledge of higher education policies, data needs, and privacy regulations.
