Job Summary
DeVine provides technical and educational support services to government clients. We are looking for an Extreme Certified Network Engineer V to join DeVine in a full‑time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer; only U.S. Citizens may be considered.
Role Highlights- Work on Extreme Networks and possess a combination of experience, skills, and qualifications.
- Ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience working with network infrastructure, preferably with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
- Certified to work on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools.
- Adopt a troubleshooting mindset, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience managing network-related projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
- BA/BS degree with minimum 5+ years of experience; or AA/AS with 7+ years of experience.
- Extreme Networks Certification.
- IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification.
- CE/OS Certification.
- CCNA Certification or equivalent.
Experience with the following technologies:
- VMware NSX (V6.2) – Install, configure, manage.
- Ruckus Layer 2 switches, wireless controller, wireless access points.
- Palo Alto Networks – PA‑7050 / PA‑3060 / PA‑3260 / PA‑5450, Wild Fire/URL filter.
- Brocade MPLS implementation, Layer 2/3 switches.
- Cisco network switches and routers.
- Aruba Networks – wireless controllers, access points, Air Wave, Clear Pass.
- Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM system.
- Extreme Networks – Layer 2/3, MLXE, IQ, OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
- Solar Winds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends.
- Current Secret Clearance.
