🌿 Big Sur Land Trust
• Conservation Easement Specialist
Big Sur Land Trust is seeking a Conservation Easement Specialist to help protect and steward thousands of acres of Monterey County’s most treasured landscapes. This role is perfect for someone passionate about conservation, detail-oriented, and skilled in both fieldwork and office-based programs.
What You’ll Do:- ✔ Monitor and manage conservation easements and fee lands
- ✔ Build strong relationships with landowners
- ✔ Conduct field monitoring and GIS data collection
- ✔ Uphold Land Trust Alliance standards and practices
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree in natural resources or related field
- ✅ 2–3 years of experience in conservation or land management
- ✅ Strong organizational and communication skills
- ✅ Advanced GIS experience (ArcGIS Pro)
