Certified Journeyman Electrician – Monterey, CA
Full‑time, Entry Level

Base Pay: $45.00/yr – $65.00/yr (hourly $40.00 – $65.00)
Seasonal and Prevailing Wage projects available.

• Lead efficient electrical installation and quality control.
• Develop and mentor apprentices and trainees.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.

• Current, valid California Journeyman Certification (include certification number).
• Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems.
• Use hand and power tools and weigh, cut, bend, thread wire and cable.
• Feed, pull, and terminate wire in control centers, distribution boxes, and other equipment.
• Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control circuits, and build control panels from drawings.
• Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams of wiring and systems.
• Delegate tasks and assist with training other employees.
• Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members.
• Adhere to all Royal Electric safety procedures.

Hourly: $40.00 – $65.00
Base rate is private and may be Prevailing Wage/Davis‑Bacon eligible depending on project assignment.
