Personal Care Assistants (PCA)
Helping Hearts | Flexible Day and Night Shifts
Helping Hearts is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ well-being.
- Assist with blood sugar monitoring when qualified and report changes in health.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Previous caregiving or PCA experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.
- Experience with personal care and blood sugar management.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
