CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER for both full‑time and part‑time positions at 75 College Drive, Montevallo, AL 35115

• Operates the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, assists the chef, and prepares coffee.
• Provides front‑of‑house service, cleans stations, and restocks supplies.

• Prepares foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• General cleaning: removes trash, maintains cleanliness of cashier and food areas.
• Inventory and restock supplies, ensuring correct par levels and temperature checks.
• Serves hot and cold items, sets up the serving line, and ensures food temperature compliance.
• Provides general customer service and assists in line serving.
• Conducts end‑of‑shift cashier deposits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• No prior experience required; willingness to be trained.
• Can work full‑time or part‑time; schedule available Sunday‑Friday 7:00 am–8:00 pm.
• Reliable, customer‑service oriented, and able to handle cash accurately.

• Fixed pay rate: $11.00 per hour.
